4 Hour Off-Grid Map and Compass Course
This course will introduce you to the topographical information found on a map, how to effectively use a compass, protractor and pair all three for a great outdoor experience. You will learn the difference between true and magnetic north and how they affect your navigation related to declination. You will practice setting and maintaining a bearing from the map to plan a route or find your position. Our instructors are trained to the highest standards and have put these techniques to practice here and overseas.
